So pleased to get my Level 2 Award in Printmaking!
I loved trying out different techniques and approaches and exploring ways to express myself in a visual way. I felt clumsy with some tools and an awkwardness in this other new language but I loved it all.
And it was a pleasure to spend time with a lovely, supportive group of creative people, sharing thoughts and ideas and seeing each other’s work coming into being.
I realized it is narrative that continues to interest me and I’m still exploring how I might take this forward. I have handmade books in mind, combining text and image to tell a story. I like this idea a lot.
