I’ve moved and my upstairs flat has a front garden patch as well as a small back garden. They are both pretty much blank canvases and the landlady is happy for you to do what you like with them, which is great.
I have plans to grow herbs and native plants and flowers. I like to garden with wildlife in mind. This is the furthest north I have lived in the UK and I’m keeping an eye out for what grows well around here.
I happened across a plant sale the other weekend which was raising funds for the friends of the local park that it was being held in. I got lots of tips and plenty of plants to start my new garden off at bargain prices.
